The Registered Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementation, and assessment of pre and post surgical care. They support a high-volume, interdisciplinary team within the SDS unit.
Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold current BCLS certification. Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, pain management, and physical assessment is required.
