The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation. They provide comprehensive client-centered care under the direction of the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Psychiatric Nursing diploma and be registered with the CRNS or CRPNS. A valid Class 5 driver's license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are also required.

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.
