The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care within the residential care unit. They perform comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client-centred care.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Nursing diploma, or a Psychiatric Nursing diploma. Applicants are required to be registered or eligible for registration with the CRNS or CRPNS and possess a valid Basic Life Support certificate.

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centred care.
