The LPN provides high-quality nursing care, medication administration, and basic assessments to residents in a retirement setting. They are also responsible for supervising Health Care Aides and maintaining accurate resident health records.
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized LPN program with valid registration with the appropriate LPN association. A strong background in geriatric or long-term care and knowledge of relevant health and pharmacy statutes are required.
The LPN ensures the general well being of residents through the delivery of high quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophy of Chartwell Retirement Residences.
