The LPN provides high-quality nursing care, basic assessments, and medication administration to residents in a retirement setting. They are also responsible for documenting resident health status and guiding Health Care Aides to ensure care plan standards are met.
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized LPN program with valid registration and a strong background in geriatric or long-term care nursing. Knowledge of relevant health and pharmacy statutes and a strong orientation toward senior care are required.
The LPN ensures the general well being of residents through the delivery of high quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophy of Chartwell Retirement Residences.
