The role involves maintaining resident records, performing chart audits, and supporting the Infection Prevention and Control Program. Additionally, the aide provides general administrative support to the Nursing department and assists with quality improvement programs.
Candidates must be between 15-30 years old, legally entitled to work in Canada, and proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of Chinese, Japanese, or South-Asian languages is an asset for some positions.
Assists in establishing a system of retention and maintenance of residents’ records and chart audits in compliance with legislation Supports Infection Prevention and Control Program including hand hygiene audits, chart audits of resident immunization history, etc. Assists in planning, preparing and implementing quality improvement programs. Performs audit, data entry, generation of reports. Analyses and evaluates data, and prepares presentation of program outcome Performs mask fit testing Assist with care plan audits Provides general administrative support to the Nursing department Contract Length: 8 weeks Hours of Work: 35 hours per week Rate: $17.60/hour Qualifications: Must be between the ages of 15-30 years of age at the start of the job Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally able to work in Ontario Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills Proven demonstrated initiative Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work remotely as required Previous experience working with the elderly population an asset Good oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Chinese, Japanese or a South-Asian language required for some positions Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
