The LPN provides resident-centered care, including administering medications, treatments, and wound care. They are also responsible for assessments, care planning, and coordinating with physicians and families.
Candidates must have active BCCNM registration as an LPN and current CPR and First Aid certification. Proficiency in electronic documentation systems like PointClickCare is required, with long-term care experience preferred.
What You’ll Do As an LPN, you’ll play a vital role in providing resident-centered care. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting resident admissions, discharges, and transfers Completing assessments and contributing to individualized care planning Administering medications, treatments, and wound care Documenting care in PointClickCare and completing MDS assessments Liaising with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams Delegating tasks to care aides and participating in care conferences and medication reviews
What You Bring Active registration as an LPN in good standing with BCCNM Current CPR and First Aid certification Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (e.g., PointClickCare, eMAR) Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written) Effective critical thinking and decision-making skills Previous experience in long-term care (preferred)
