The LPN is responsible for resident admissions, assessments, care planning, and the administration of medications and treatments. They also coordinate with physicians and families while delegating tasks to unregulated care providers.

About Sidney Care Home Sidney Care Home is located in the beautiful seaside community of Sidney, offering residential care to 54 residents in a warm and welcoming environment. With many years of trusted service, we are proud to provide care that truly feels like home. Recently renovated and thoughtfully designed, our facility combines comfort and modern touches to create a pleasant and dignified living space for our residents. In partnership with Vancouver Island Health Authority, Sidney Care is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care and maintaining the highest standards of service for those we support.

What You’ll Do

Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Resident assessments and care planning.

Administration of medications, treatments, and wound care.

Working with electronic documentation (Point Click Care) and MDS Assessments.

Liaising with physicians, families, and other members of the care team.

Delegating tasks to unregulated care providers.

Participating in Care Conferences and Medication Reviews.

What You Bring

Registered and in good standing with BCCNM.

Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.

Competent in electronic documentation and eMar.

Fluent in English — both verbal and written.

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Previous experience in Long Term Care. Preferred.

Proof of vaccination.
