Full-Time YRH Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse

About the Role

• We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Youth Recovery House team.
• In this key role, you will provide compassionate nursing care and support to youth working through substance withdrawal and mental health challenges.

Position

Full-time - 32 hours per week. Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends required.

Compensation

• RN/RPN wage range $43.27 - $51.66 per hour plus applicable shift premiums.
• Evening shift premium – additional $3.50 per hour between 1900hr-0700hr
• Weekend shift premium – additional $2.50 per hour between 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) Sunday
• Shift premiums compound- additional $6.00 per hour between 1900hr-0700hr on 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) Sunday

Qualifications

• Education and experience
• RN/RPN with current registration with BCCNM
• Experience with addictions and mental health would be an asset

• Job skills and abilities
• Well developed interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
• Proficient knowledge of group process and facilitation techniques.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with program team, social workers, and other community professionals.

• Other Requirements
• Criminal record check in accordance with agency policy
• Medical clearances
• First aid/CPR certificate (preferred)
