Provide nursing care, administer medications, and implement care plans for clients in accordance with BCCNM standards. Support clients' physical, emotional, and social needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the BCCNM and have completed an accredited practical nursing program. Requires a valid First Aid certificate and the ability to pass criminal record and reference checks.
STATUS Non-Union; this position is open to all genders.
WORK HOURS The casual position candidate should be able to confirm availability for 21 shifts (7 days) per month (7 overnight), or 15 shifts (5 days) per month (5 overnight) - if holding a FT job or student.
Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Records Check Ability to successfully complete reference check Ability to provide a record of work history Current First Aid Certificate (Please refer to the Certificates accepted in B.C. - WorkSafeBC) Proof of vaccination for communicable diseases may be required as mandated by Government, Health Authority, and/or funder requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements outlined below are non-specific to the position, as such, there may be additional tasks required.
