About the Role
- The MRI Technologist is a member of the patient care team, who, in collaboration with other health care professionals provides shockingly excellent patient care through their technical expertise. What you bring:
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from an accredited educational institution
- Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario, CMRTO with specialization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRT. (MR)
- Member of the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS)
- 3-5 years MRI experience preferred
- Safety awareness, including MR safety
- 3 Tesla MRI experience considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of cross sectional anatomy
- Competent in injecting contrast and inserting IVs is required
- Point of Care Creatinine iStat training an asset
- Central Venous Access training through SOLs an asset
- Demonstrated ongoing continuing education
