Conduct virtual Independent Medical Examinations and consultations for military veterans and RCMP members. Assess eligibility for medical cannabis and provide trauma-informed mental health evaluations for conditions like PTSD and depression.
This is a remote position. MDSearch is seeking bilingual Psychiatrists (English/French) licensed in Quebec to provide virtual specialist consultations for military veterans and RCMP members receiving medical cannabis treatment.
Consultations are requested when additional specialist input is required regarding a patient's prescribed medical cannabis dosage and coverage considerations through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). The Psychiatrist will independently assess the Veteran's mental health condition, review relevant clinical information, and provide a clinical opinion regarding the appropriateness of the current treatment plan and dosage.

Compensation: $500–$750 per IME
Licensure required: Candidates must be licensed to practice in Quebec.
