The Developmental Service Worker supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and participating in community life. Responsibilities include providing personal care, medical support, and facilitating social connections.
Candidates must possess a Human Services diploma or equivalent experience and hold a valid Ontario Class G driver's license with insurance. Mandatory certifications include Standard First Aid, Level C CPR, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
We invite candidates who have Human Services diplomas (DSW, SSW, PSW, BST, CYW, etc.) or degrees. We also welcome those without Human Services diplomas, but have transferrable personal experience diverse enough to be considered equivalent, as we are willing to train motivated team members. The ability to work flexible hours is a requirement inclusive of days, evenings, overnights and weekends. Pay Range: $25.48 - $26.76 per hour Location: Trent Hills, Cobourg, Brighton, and/or the surrounding areas
