Dental Assistant

About the Position

Working within the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Schools you will prepare and assist the Dental Therapist / Dentist during dental procedures.

Duties

Provide Fluoride Treatments to clients; Provide instructions on oral hygiene (Brushing &flossing); Booking and confirming appointments; Document client records; Provide infection control/sterilization and maintain a positive public relation with clients; General office duties;

Qualifications

Certified in Dental Assisting and registered (Or eligible for registration) with Saskatchewan Dental Assistants’ Association; Strong organization skills & able to multi-task; Ability to work independently as well as a team member; Intermediate computer skills & experience using Microsoft Office; Excellent verbal, written communication & public relation skills; Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license & able to travel when required Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset; Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset;
