The incumbent will handle telephone intake services for the agency and complete initial assessments and documentation for referred cases. They will report directly to the Intake Service Manager while working within a unionized environment.
Candidates must possess a post-secondary diploma in a Social Services Worker program or a related degree. Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of child protection legislation and risk assessment.

This posting is for a Bilingual Intake Phone Assessor(s) position based either from the Barrie or Hunstville Intake offices. The incumbent will report to the Intake Service Manager and will have primary responsibilities for handling telephone intake responsibilities for the Society, completing initial assessment and documentation on referred cases. This is a CUPE Local 5319 Bargaining Unit position.
