The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the Chronic Resident Unit. They must promote the organizational mission and values by providing safe, quality nursing care to clients.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Nursing diploma, or a Psychiatric Nursing diploma. Additionally, a Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate is required, along with registration with the relevant provincial college.
