The physician will conduct patient skin assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform follow-up care while maintaining professional patient relations. Additionally, they will assist in coaching the nursing team and participate in ongoing company training and education.
Candidates must hold a current College of Physicians of Alberta (CPSA) license and possess a strong passion for cosmetic dermatology. While prior experience in the aesthetic medicine industry is preferred, newer graduates are welcome to apply.
We are looking for Family Medicine Physicians specializing in Dermatology to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.
This position would entail full time, 5-day per week clinical work.
While having previous dermatology training or experience is preferred, we also offer training opportunities for those interested. The GP/Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide professional patient care always and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company Adhere to company policies and protocols Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees
