Conduct virtual Independent Medical Examinations and mental health consultations for military veterans and RCMP members. Assess eligibility for medical cannabis and provide trauma-informed evaluations for conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Candidates must be licensed to practice psychiatry in either Quebec or Nova Scotia and be bilingual in English and French. Experience working with the military community and a background in trauma-related mental health are preferred.
This is a remote position. MDSearch is seeking bilingual Psychiatrists (English/French) in Quebec to conduct virtual Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and consultations for military veterans and RCMP members experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep disorders, and chronic pain.
The Psychiatrist will meet with patients from Quebec and Nova Scotia, assessing eligibility for medical cannabis and providing trauma-informed mental health evaluations. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to support Canada’s veteran community through entirely virtual care.
Compensation: $500–$750 per IME
Licensure required: Candidates must be licensed to practice in Quebec.
