The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct clinical care, including medication administration, health assessments, and treatment for residents. They also supervise health care aides and ensure all care documentation is maintained in accordance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized LPN program and hold a valid registration with the appropriate LPN association. A strong background in geriatric or long-term care nursing is required, along with knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
The LPN ensures the general well being of residents through the delivery of high quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophy of Chartwell Retirement Residences.
