Location

Provide direct support to youth and adults in residential and shelter programs by assisting with life skills and crisis de-escalation. Maintain accurate case notes, safety plans, and incident reports while acting as a liaison between clients and professional support networks.
Requires a degree or diploma in Human Services or equivalent experience, along with valid First Aid and CPR certification. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass criminal and child intervention record checks.

The Role: Youth Worker (Full Time, 8 week contract)
Trellis Society seeks Youth Workers (Developmental Wellness Workers) to aid our 24/7 Residential and Shelter Programs. Support Workers help clients improve their quality of life and define what success looks like for them. The position involves supporting 24-hour, Recovery-Oriented, and Housing-Focused programs for youth and adults.
This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program, part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy. The program aims to support young people—particularly those facing barriers to employment—by helping them gain the skills, experience, and support they need to successfully transition into the workforce.
This position directly reports to a 24/7 Program Manager.
