Clinical Extern - Nursing (RN, RPN, IEN)

Responsible and accountable for the provision of patient care under the supervision of a regulated health professional (RHP) assigned to them in a manner consistent with organizational policies and professional standards, while taking into account the limitations placed on the position Works with the supervising RHP to ensure that the incumbent has the knowledge, skills and judgment needed to perform all actions/duties, such as assisting with ambulation, toileting, bathing, feeding and other care activities necessary in meeting the patient’s personal needs and comfort Requests assistance with assigned duties whenever needed and alerts team members when any change or concern about the patient’s condition is raised Reports to work on all shifts assigned, or ensures that the Manager is notified if absence prior to the start of the shift Maintains confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies and procedures Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills Satisfactory performance and attendance required To Apply: To apply for this amazing opportunity, please include a cover letter and resume.
