The Kinesiologist will treat clients from various sources like Motor Vehicle Accidents and LTD in a gym setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team on treatment progression and management. They will design and implement therapeutic exercise programs and complete employer assessments such as PDA, POET, and FAE to confirm job capability.
Candidates must possess a university degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics and maintain active membership or eligibility with the Alberta Kinesiology Association. Essential soft skills include excellent time management, organizational abilities, strong communication, and empathy for building patient rapport.
