The Personal Support Worker will support residents with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, and hygiene, while building deep relationships with residents and their families. Responsibilities also include providing ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, and potentially administering specific medications under supervision.
Candidates must have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved institution and be legally eligible to work in Canada, passing a Vulnerable Sector Check. The role requires compassion, dedication, proficiency in administering simple treatments, and exercising tact and diplomacy when interacting with seniors and visitors.
