The Cardiology Technologist is responsible for ensuring patient identification, safety, and preparation before performing various cardiac testing techniques such as ECG, stress testing, and Holter monitoring in compliance with guidelines. This role also involves performing nuclear stress testing, inserting IV lines, monitoring treatments, and ensuring all quality control and equipment maintenance procedures are followed.
Candidates must have 0-2 years of experience and must have completed a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists, holding current CSCT certification. Essential requirements include a current CPR certificate, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make effective decisions independently or as part of a team.
Well Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a skilled and certified Cardiology Technologist who will be responsible for performing all cardiac testing techniques including Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BP monitoring in compliance with CSCT guidelines.
