The Physiotherapist will function as a Therapeutic Services Program Supervisor, directing program assistants and coordinating department programs while maintaining records and completing required assessments like InterRai MDS and electronic Rehabilitation Assessment Screen. Key duties also involve developing and implementing physiotherapy programs to address physical deficits and supervising therapy assistants for these programs.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, with a preference for a minimum of two years' experience in a Continuing Care setting. Essential qualifications include the ability to perform duties mentally and physically, demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and show concern for resident safety and well-being.
