The Social Worker provides psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual support to residents to enhance their well-being and sense of control. They develop and implement meaningful programs while coordinating relationships between residents, families, staff, and the community.
A Bachelor or Master's degree in Social Work and eligibility for registration with the Alberta Association for Social Workers are preferred. Candidates should ideally have at least two years of experience in continuing care, particularly with cognitively impaired individuals.
