Candidates must possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university diploma of 1 to 2 years and have 1 to less than 7 months of work experience. Required qualifications include current registration with the relevant provincial Medical Radiation Technologists association, knowledge of general nuclear medicine procedures, and current CPR/First Aid certification.

· Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn-around time, confidentiality of test results; assist and/or provide training as required.
· Ensure patients comfort and confidence in the competence and professionalism of the centre and its staff.
· Prepare reports for the information; answer technical questions, carrying out any necessary information Demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards; including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, booking system reporting procedures, turn-around time, equipment, and methods used in other company centers, and the amount of training required to attain familiarity.
· Operates and maintains equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests.
· Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills, abilities and knowledge.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts.
· May perform BMD examinations. (Only applicable to BMD Technologists)
· May perform radiation detection through gamma cameras, scanners, scintillation counters, tomodensitometers and ionization chambers, to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease. (Only applicable to Nuclear Medicine Technologists)
