Position Summary

  • We are seeking dedicated and passionate Family Physicians to join our team at Soonats’ooneh Community Health Centre as we expand our hours of operation. This is an exciting opportunity for physicians interested in working within a collaborative, Team-Based Care centre to deliver high-quality primary care services. As a Family Physician at our community health centre, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering direct clinical care and telephone consults as/when needed
  • Providing full-scope Family Medicine, including the treatment of a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
  • The opportunity to gain experience/practice in the areas of prenatal & paediatric care, substance use management, HIV and Hepatitis C and Indigenous health & wellness
  • Providing inpatient care according to a weekly rotation that does not exceed 1:4
  • Long term care coverage is required
  • On call is required after initial onboarding period You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, which includes: Family Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, RNs, Social Workers, Indigenous Wellness Workers, Mental Health & Substance Use Clinicians, an Elder and Knowledge Holders and Outreach workers. We also have Outreach Drivers that provide transportation assistance to clients. Why Join Us?
