The Resident Attendant will provide direct support to residents, including answering call bells, completing assigned care tasks outlined in the plan of care, and transporting residents as needed. This role also involves completing housekeeping and laundry duties while fostering strong relationships with residents and their families.
Candidates must possess certification as a Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Worker, or be willing to complete a recognized 16-hour course within three months of starting. A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role, along with valid Basic or Standard First Aid and CPR certification, is required.
