Candidates must hold a recognized qualification in the relevant allied health profession and be eligible for professional association membership or registration requirements. AHP2 candidates are expected to apply advanced clinical expertise, exercise sound judgment, and support the development of less experienced staff.

Under the guidance of a Clinical Senior Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist (AHP1) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the needs of the local community. Working as part of a supportive, multi-professional team, you’ll contribute to prevention, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation strategies that make a real difference in people’s lives.
As a Physiotherapist (AHP2) they will draw on their advanced clinical knowledge and growing expertise to plan, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of services with greater independence. Working under reduced clinical direction, you’ll also contribute to the supervision of less experienced staff, allied health assistants, and students, helping to build future capability. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate across sectors, applying a holistic approach to care that enhances health outcomes and strengthens community well-being.
