The Physician will conduct medical assessments and examinations to determine medical issues, recommend suitability for programs, and determine necessary treatment changes. Responsibilities also include providing consultation, patient education on pain management, and liaising with the multidisciplinary treatment team and other care providers.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine degree and be licensed to practice in British Columbia, with experience working with WorkSafe BC being essential. Experience in areas like addictions, orthopedics, or sports medicine, along with knowledge of musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation, is considered an asset.

We are currently seeking the services of a Physician to support our Courtenay clinic who will be responsible for performing medical assessments to determine rehabilitation and treatment requirements.
As the physician in our Courtenay clinic, you will be available for up to 6 hours a week dependent on case load and have experience with WSBC.
