The psychotherapist will apply psychological expertise in assessment, evaluation, and treatment, including monitoring client progress and reporting, with consultation being a core function. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with an interdisciplinary team on conditions affecting functional abilities, delivering psychosocial interventions, and handling discharge planning.
Successful candidates must be graduates of a recognized School of Psychotherapy and registered members in good standing with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. Experience or a strong interest in developing expertise in occupational rehabilitation, along with familiarity with the health field and psychosocial models of interdisciplinary care, is required.
