The Personal Support Worker will support clients to maintain safety and independence in their homes, providing personal care and assisting with mobility and light exercises. Responsibilities also include observing, documenting, reporting changes in condition, and performing light housekeeping tasks as required by care plans.
Candidates must possess a Personal Support Worker Certificate or an equivalent qualification, such as Health Care Aid or Developmental Support Worker, and must be able to pass a recent Criminal Record Check and provide proof of a negative TB test. A valid driver's license, vehicle, and car insurance are mandatory for travel between client homes, along with a commitment to work every other weekend.
