The nurse will provide comprehensive foot and/or hand care to clients in community and clinic settings, ensuring adherence to infection prevention standards and care guidelines, especially for diabetic foot care. Responsibilities also include assessing client health status, documenting according to CNO guidelines, and liaising with primary care physicians when necessary.
Candidates must possess certification from an accredited Advanced Foot Care course and be registered with the College of Nurses in good standing, holding a current CPR certificate. Essential requirements include experience working with community clients, excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in home settings.
