The role involves promoting health and healing and providing education as part of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care for clients, patients, or residents across all phases of healthcare. This position requires availability for all shifts, including short notice calls, statutory holidays, and weekends, with a minimum commitment of twenty-four hours per three-week period.
Candidates must possess a Practical Nursing diploma and hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or be eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS). Additional requirements include possessing necessary interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
