About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated radiographers to join our expanding peel region team on a permanent full-Time basis working out of the peel health campus and peel specialist centre.

Peel health campus is a 24/7 hospital providing emergency, inpatient and outpatient services to one of western australia's fastest-Growing regions. You'll enjoy exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations in a fast-Paced environment where radiographers work closely with friendly, experienced and patient oriented colleagues and referrers. We are looking for

Ct radiographers or 2yrs + post graduates - Ready to take the next step in their training

Mri radiographers – who are excited to learn ct if not already proficient

Roster & benefits

As a 24/7 hospital service, our radiographers work across a rotating roster that offers clinical variety and attractive penalty rates.

The role includes

  • 24/7 shift coverage including evening and night shifts
  • Weekend shifts with penalty rates
  • On-Call with paid standby and recall rates time and a half, double time and applicable shift loadings
  • Employment under an eba with attractive inclusions

Key responsibilities

Work withing a mixed 24/7 roster with a variety of work across general, ct, mmg, mri radiography as applicable in both inpatient and outpatient settings deliver exceptional patient care , ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity.

Work collaboratively with radiologists, emergency department clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Bachelor of medical imaging (Or equivalent qualification)
  • Current ahpra registration
  • Western australian radiation use licence (Or eligibility to obtain)
  • Able to attain a working with children check (Wwcc)minimum 2 years' radiography experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with a high standard of personal radiographic work output & knowledge
  • Living within the mandurah / Peel region or ready to do so long term
  • Proactive attitude to learning and willingness to work independently as part of a skilled team of radiographers

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent, AHPRA registration, and a Western Australian Radiation Use Licence. A minimum of 2 years of experience and exposure to CT imaging is preferred.
