Home Support Worker

We are recruiting Home Support Workers in Quesnel who have a strong background in both personal care and housekeeping. This role requires comfort and experience with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe, tidy home environment, in addition to supporting clients with developmental or mental health disabilities and personal care needs.

Compensation Health Care Worker

• $21 per hour
• Registered
• Care
• Aide: $23 per hour

• As a Home Support Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
• Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with medical escort services.
• Assisting with medication management.
• Assisting with housekeeping.
• Following the guidelines and policies of the company.
• Maintaining professional boundaries.

Competencies and Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
• Experience with housekeeping and personal care. Must be comfortable providing shower assistance, peri care, and meal preparation.
• Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
• Willingness to take initiative and complete household tasks such as housekeeping, light personal care (if required), companionship, and assistance with any outings.
• Willingness to commute to designated locations.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Ability to take direction, demonstrate accountability, communicate effectively, and work under pressure is essential.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
