Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Valid registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (required)
• Must have an overnight shift availability
• Clear Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector clearance (required)
• Latest tuberculosis screening test (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset)

As a Pediatric LPN with Classic LifeCare, your responsibilities may include

• Providing personal care for infants and children
• Assisting with enteral tube feeding
• Performing oral, nasal, or deep suctioning
• Monitoring and managing seizures
• Administering medications
• Conducting catheterizations and catheter care
• Supporting diabetes management
• Monitoring and managing respiratory conditions
• Providing tracheostomy care (training provided)
• School assignments in the morning for back-to-school, community and home care may be involved
