The role involves providing personal care and supporting activities of daily living for clients, patients, or residents to encourage their optimum level of functioning. This support extends to meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Candidates must possess a Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA) and demonstrate organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer skills. A valid driver's license and Food Safe certificate may be required depending on the location.
