Pre-package oral, liquid, and topical medications into unit-of-use format. Ensure accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions by verifying order entries and/or performing final checks. Enter and ensure accuracy/completeness of drug and personal health information in the pharmacy information system. Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies. Process prescriptions for temporary inpatient leave of absence by reviewing, translating, and converting existing inpatient medication orders previously reviewed and approved by a pharmacist. Maintain accurate records including medication verification and results of quality assurance checks. Distribute medications and maintain relevant inventory, wardstock, and narcotic records. Overview

Provide radiation oncology clinical care within BC Cancer’s provincial Radiation Therapy Program. Participate in clinical, research, administrative, and academic activities, including teaching. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team (nursing, medical physics, dosimetry, therapy staff). Participate in clinical trials through the on-site Clinical Trials Unit. Deliver radiation therapy services including external beam techniques (VMAT, SRS, SABR) and brachytherapy programs (LDR/HDR prostate, GYN, skin, oesophageal)
