Deliver daily resident programming, therapy, spiritual and other support services in accordance with County policies and applicable legislation. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident programming based on best practices across five domains to meet individual resident needs. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and community partners. Complete resident admission assessments and care plans quarterly, annually, and as required; complete attendance statistics daily; complete documentation and attend ad hoc meetings as required. Participate in and apply resident safety principles in day-to-day activities; follow safe work practices and immediately communicate any risk to resident safety. Function as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team and maintain effective cooperative working relationships with all departments. Support resident council, volunteers, and students as required. Participate in committees as required. Perform other duties as assigned, including redeployment in emergency situations. Maintain compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Long Term Care Homes Act and follow County Health & Safety policies, procedures, and legislation.
