Oversee end-to-end dental billing operations using AxiUm software, including daily patient billing, claim submissions across multiple insurance platforms, invoice generation, and payment posting.. Evaluate and resolve insurance claim issues by adjudicating denied claims, verifying patient coverage, processing pre-determinations, and ensuring compliance with evolving programs such as the Canadian Dental Care Program.. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable through monthly reporting, follow up on outstanding balances, coordinate collections, and establish payment arrangements with patients and third parties.. Provide support to patient financial services by providing treatment cost estimates, handling complex multi-coverage billing (including pediatric cases), and responding to patient, insurer, and agency inquiries.. Lead and support operational activities within Patient Services, including staff coordination, deposit handling, report generation, records management, and acting as team lead in the manager’s absence..
