Support individuals and families impacted by crime by navigating the criminal legal system and understanding victims' rights. Provide advocacy, short-term counselling, information, and safety planning. Assist with applying for protective orders. Provide client-centered crisis intervention, de-escalation, and counseling. Deliver professional case management from a victim-centered lens. Navigate emergency and crisis situations and provide support to access community supports and services. Work collaboratively with criminal legal system partners (RCMP, Public Prosecution Services of Canada, Yukon Community Corrections, Justice Wellness Centre, Youth Probation). Travel periodically to other Yukon communities to provide victim services support
