Assign and delegate tasks to other members of the healthcare team as appropriate. Ensure the client/family unit participates in development, implementation, and ongoing modification of the plan of care, including long- and short-term goals. Establish a therapeutic relationship using effective interpersonal and interviewing techniques to support client choice and autonomy in decision-making and care planning.
