Under direction of the Manager/Clinical Coordinator, perform assessments, plan and provide personal care, and perform nursing procedures. Perform orthopaedic technician functions including applying/removing casts and splints. Set up, monitor, and adjust traction equipment as directed by the physician. Operate in accordance with competency guidelines and full scope of practice within BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards. Follow agency operating policies and unit-specific protocols. Participate in a specialty orthopaedic LPN training opportunity (theory and practicum) with full-time attendance
