Overview
Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate service delivery for the Library’s Digital Experience Portfolio. Plan, deliver, and evaluate public and staff flexible and engaging programming related to digital literacy and emerging technologies. Monitor, evaluate, and implement front-facing library technologies such as circulating technology kits and the catalogue discovery layer. Plan, assign, check, supervise, and schedule the work of professional librarians and clerical staff. Interview and hire new staff and volunteers; provide training and development; conduct performance appraisals. Participate in departmental planning and budget development, monitor staffing budgets, and participate in formulation of departmental policies and procedures. Provide information and assistance to the public. Resolve problems concerning patrons, staff, departmental operations, services, and facilities. Perform related work as required
