Overview
Provide support and functional troubleshooting for workforce management solutions, including employee self-service and centralized scheduling/timekeeping support. Ensure bi-weekly payroll processing and leave management processes are followed and kept up-to-date. Troubleshoot issues related to interfaces (import/export files) between HRC and the scheduling/timekeeping solution. Mentor and act as an escalation point for analysts on the Workforce Central Support Team. Develop relationships with leaders from departments that work with Workforce Management Solutions. Represent Workforce Management Solutions in conferences and meetings, providing knowledge of systems, processes, and BCCSS workflows. Respond to user inquiries with guidance on STS practices/processes, collective agreement language, and HR policies; log, triage, track, and escalate issues for timely resolution. Provide resource services to employees using self-service and scheduling systems; assist with error investigation and correction remotely or via step-by-step instructions. Collect and compile data to support initiatives (safety, rehabilitation work trials, employee retention, budget analysis, attendance management) and communicate findings. Contribute to business process improvement by collaborating with scheduling & timekeeping, payroll, human resources, and others; review tools/services/policies/systems and recommend improvements. Participate in implementation efforts for improvements to scheduling/timekeeping transactional and reporting activities, including system implementations, modifications, upgrades, and conversions. Train staff and/or arrange training and orientation for scheduling/self-service and the Workbrain system; contribute to preparation of reference material and documentation
