Candidates must hold a Diploma in Practical Nursing and possess 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience in community or hospital settings. A valid Class G driver's license, current Basic Rescuer (C) certification, and a successful police vulnerable sector check are required.
Skills, knowledge & experience required
Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a community health setting or combination of community and hospital or public health settings
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and possess strong organizational skills
Strong attention to patient and family-centered care and establishing therapeutic relationships is required
Demonstrated ability to work in an inter-professional team environment is required
Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with good analytical, problem solving, organizational and administrative skills
Clean driver's abstract, current, valid Class 'G' driver's license and reliable transportation to support travel across Windsor-Essex County as required
Proficient in the use of computers and various software applications is required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills an asset.
