  • VetCare Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment and enjoys the opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the patient visit. Our practice cares for a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, pocket pets, avian species, and reptiles, offering an engaging caseload where you can utilize and expand a broad range of clinical skills. In this role, you will play an integral part in both outpatient and procedural workflows, providing compassionate, high-quality care while supporting clients and collaborating closely with the medical team. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical expertise, sound judgment, and communication skills they bring to every aspect of the hospital. Our team is encouraged to utilize their skills, experience, and credentials to their fullest potential while helping elevate the quality of medicine, patient care, and client experience. Responsibilities include: Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, assisting, and recovery for a variety of species Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $24 - $29 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Thursday. Weekend availability is occasionally needed to support coverage, though weekend shifts are infrequent.
