Crisis Clinician (N3) - Crisis Services

Four years related community experience.

The Crisis Response Centre has a mandate to provide service in French; preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

BN or RPN required. Knowledge of Crisis Intervention Theory. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Suicide Assessment and Intervention Training.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM). Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Valid driver’s license and vehicle preferred.

Qualifications: and Skills

Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). Effective Crisis Intervention skills. Expertise in the area of mental health. Knowledge and understanding of psychosocial rehab and recovery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective networking and agency relations skill.
